FAQ

Can you really make money grading Pokémon cards with PSA?

It depends on the card. In our Jun 2025–Apr 2026 backtest, buying every eligible card at market price and grading it needed 1 in 2 PSA 10 just to break even. Buying only POKECA-NOW PRO's picks broke even at 1 in 9, and at 1 in 4 returned +30% a year on a ¥1M budget.

How much do I need to start?

You can start with a single card. The cheapest past pick cost ¥27,500 including the grading fee. With only a few cards, luck (whether you hit a PSA 10) swings the result a lot; the more cards you spread across, the closer you get to the numbers above.

Do I lose money if I don't get a PSA 10?

Yes. Cards that came back 8 or lower lost about 37% of their cost even after cracking them out and selling raw, because of grading and selling fees. The strategy pays off across many cards, not on each one.
